Fantastic, rare pair of candlesticks by renowned Mexican Silversmith Antonio Pineda. They are 15.5" tall by 9-1/8" across the base and 5-1/4 deep front to back at the base. The base tubes are 3/4 thick.Each candelabra is 13.75 wide across both top candle holders. Each reflector piece is 5" widest by 5.5" tall. The candle holders are 1-1/8 in diameter. There is wax and old polish residue in the crevices and candle holding area. There are some light scratches in the candle holder area as well.
There are some shelf scratches on the bottom of one base, which has a very slight wobble. No dents, no dings, no creases, no cracks. Both are marked 930 as to silver content, both have the Antonio Taxco Crown mark, Eagle 17 assay, and Hecho En Mexico hallmarks.
These weigh approximately 3,052 grams for the pair. This is a once in a LONG TIME opportunity to own a pair of modernist candelabrum from one of Mexico's best Silversmiths in history.
