This pair of silver plate fighting cocks or roosters comes from France. The birds are very well executed with great detail to feathers and feet. One is clearly on the attack, while the other has a slightly more defensive pose. These make great center pieces for a game table or buffet. Condition is very good, no visible problems. One spur seems shorter than the others, but it does appear to be as intended. Measurements are: 7 x 6 x 7 and 8 x 4 ½ x 6.
