2 Antique Sterling Silver Spring Loaded Candle Holder With Pink Filigree Shades

  

This is a pair of Victorian spring loaded candleholders in sterling silver bases. The shades are made of silver tone metal in a filigree design.

These are often sterling silver but I have not been able to find a sterling hallmark. Each has a fabric liner with fine fringe around the bottom.

The fringe is worn in places. The candleholders are interchangeable and can fit into other bases.

The sterling bases are bent but hold the holder fine. The pair stands 11" high and is about 6" wide. They have wear consistent with age being well over 100 years old. Lovely for a Victorian style vanity!
