Lot of Vintage Modernist Earrings in Sterling, 14K Gold, Gold Filled, Enamel

  

These items are from a living estate sale of an 86 year old woman who was instrumental in our city promoting young artists and artisans. She and her husband of many years traveled overseas a lot to many countries bringing back local art pieces. In her early days she was a fan of modernist jewelry which is reflected in many of the earring being offered. Several pieces are hallmarked and some aren't. I tested all pieces with a magnet and all were NOT attracted to the magnet.

You'll find sterling silver, sterling silver with 14K gold inlay, gold filled, brass, and copper in this lot. You'll also see hammered, pierced, and enamel work. Most are posts with backs and some are hook. A couple are signed with makers marks. Condition: All of these items have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner and then polished.
