Magnificent Vintage Ornate Pair of Silver Grape Scissors with a Hunting Scene

  

Here for your consideration is a magnificent pair of vintage, sterling silver, fully hallmarked, grape scissors, with floral ornate decoration, complete with a hunting scene of stags, dogs and huntsman to one side and hunting equipment depicted to the reverse, that were made by the Whitehill Silver Company. A lovely piece of silver repousse workmanship, fully hallmarked WW for the silversmiths Whitehill Silver Company with the lion passant, Birmingham anchor assay office stamp, 925 sterling stamp and a date letter'b' for 2001. Condition: these delightful, silver, grape scissors are in lovely original condition with no repair or damage. They do have some nice silver patina/patination, commensurate with their age but nothing unusual.

Length: 6.6 inches or 16.8 cm. Width: 2.35 inches or 6 cm (widest point). Weight: 109.5 grams or 3.8 oz. This is as good as it gets with regards to ornate silver grape scissors.
