PAIR 1930's Classic Art Deco Copper & Metal Sconces RESTORED

  

Dating to the early-1930's, the design of these stunning Art Deco sconces is comprised of classic themes having been reduced to their more elemental forms This is in keeping with the fundamental nature of the movement, minimizing floral and elaborate embellishments. They are comprised of a single casting of substantial non-ferrous metal. The only visible makers mark is the number 10838. More specific provenance is unknown at this time. These sconces have been fully restored and refurbished and are ready for contemporary installation.

The metal casting has been cleaned, polished, hand detailed with copper enamel and clear coated. The original sockets and rotary switches have been refurbished with new like kind. Sockets accept standard US medium base light bulbs (not included). New mounting hardware and caps are included as shown.
