PAIR Art Deco Brass Plated Cast Iron Sconces c. This beautiful pair of art deco sconces dates to the very early 1930's. There are no makers marks aside from the notation "60-OB".

No other evidence which might provide an indication of specific provenance could be ascertained. These sconces have been restored and refurbished and are in excellent working order. The cast iron backplates and arms have been professionally brass plated. Original candle sockets, insulators and sleeves have been replaced with new like kind. The AC receptacles housed under the arms have been replaced with brass hardware and vintage stock rotary switches.

All other wiring has been replaced with new. Solid brass finials and caps have been added. These sconces utilize standard US medium base light bulbs (not included). Approximate dimensions are as follows. Back plate: 10"H X 4.25"W.

Depth from wall: 5.5. NOTE: Upon close inspection, there is a stress line in the center of one sconce backplate (see final photo).
