Pair of Vintage 800 Silver Classical Tall Italian Candlesticks

  

This listing is for a very nice vintage set of tall silver candlesticks that were made in Italy of 80% silver content (sterling silver is 92.5%). Dimensions are: 8 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter at the bottom.

The part where a candle would fit is 7/8 in diameter. These candlesticks were made after 1968 based on the hallmarks on each stick which is an 800 in an oval, the maker's mark which looks like 1307 FI (Firenze or Florence) with a star, and then there is another small mark which is too tiny to make out. Total gross weight is 8.66 troy ounces. Weight of the stick that doesn't have the insert is 3.10 troy ounces. Condition: very good, pre-owned condition with no distracting dings, dents or scratches.
