Pair of Vintage Italian Hand-Wrought 800 Silver (80%) Tall Candlesticks

  

This listing is for a pair of tall silver candlesticks that were made in Italy after 1968. They are hallmarked with the mark used from 1968 onward and 800 which is 80% silver content (sterling silver is 92.5%).

I cannot make out the city/silversmith mark. The sticks are 8" tall and the bases are 3 1/2" in diameter. One has an insert in the bottom with weight while the other is missing that insert. The weight of the one that has no insert is 2.97 troy ounces so the pair is likely around 6 troy ounces of 800 (80%) silver. Very good condition with no major issues noted. They have a few light surface scratches from polishing and storage but nothing that would show up in pictures. I have lightly polished these but they could use a more thorough polishing. The insert with weight is missing on one of the sticks. Please see all pictures for details.
