Pair vintage Italian solid silver cherub candlesticks

  
A striking set of vintage Italian candlesticks constructed of solid 800 silver with acanthus leaf base topped by a cherub clasping the scrolled stem as if riding an ocean of crashing waves. The top of each candlestick show beautifully reeded supports with broad scalloped collar, the perfect recipient for a candle and very usable to this day. Each piece stands 4.5 tall and weigh 214gms combined (not weighted) while housing a stunning patina that is a decorative sweetness lying wait for your table!
