PAIR Vintage Triple Shade Machine Age Deco Aluminum Sconces c1934 RESTORED

  
Dating to the mid-1930's, these aluminum triple shade sconces were certainly the height of modernism in their day. Both stunning and practical, light is emitted upward from the center and radiated outward between the shades. Finished in brushed aluminum with polished edges, they are beautiful to admire both on and off. These sconces have been fully restored and refurbished and are ready for contemporary installation. Aluminum backplate and shade components have been polished and clear coated. The sconce arm has been finished with aluminum enamel. The original sockets have been refurbished with new like kind. These accept standard medium base Edison bulbs (not included). Original rotary switches have been refurbished with new like kind. New mounting hardware and caps are included as shown. Approximate dimensions are as follows. Total footprint: 8"H X 7.75"W X 8.5D. NOTE: Upon close inspection, there are very slight runs in the clear coat. They are not apparent and impossible for me to capture in photos. I prefer to err strongly on the critical side in my descriptions. Unfortunately, I could find no information regarding specific provenance.
