Pair of beautiful Sterling Silver candelabra, Gorham Mfg. Of Providence, Rhode Island, made in1951. Fully hallmarked with Gorham's maker's mark, date symbol for 1951, sterling, pattern #41836, and English Reproduction. The Candlesticks are of square shape with baluster stems, the sticks and three light branches are decorated with gadroon borders in the English Georgian style, the arms are fluted. The candlesticks are weighted and of heavy gauge, however, the candelabra branches are solid silver.
These candelabra are the essence of the quality of workmanship produced by Gorham in the 1950s. Because of their fine design, they would grace a table of any style.
