Vintage Antique Art Deco Slip Shade Wall Sconces Chrome Bathroom MCM Retro

  

This pair of vintage Art Deco Chrome wall sconces with white glass slip shades were made in the 1930's and are in great condition and stunning!! Be sure to look closely at photos, to see the quality of the chrome and details in the design.

This lovely pair of sconces would work well in your Art Deco, Retro or MCM home. The sconces have been cleaned, polished and rewired and tested for safety.

They do not have their orig. Clicker switches on the bottom, we replaced them with chrome pieces that match the chrome nuts that hold the sconces to the wall. The finials have also been replaced. If you note in the photos, the old chrome of the sconces is a bit different in color than the new chrome finials. This is not super apparent, but check out the pictures, to make sure it works for you.

The sconces measure: 6 1/4" tall 5" projection from your wall 3 3/4 wide back plates The sconces each take small size Medium base light bulbs, up to 40 watts each. If you require brighter light, we recommend using LED bulbs, which use less wattage and create less heat. These are readily available at Lowe's or Home Depot as well as online. This pair of sconces would be a wonderful addition to your bathroom, whether your decor is Art Deco, Mid Century Modern or Retro.

This pair of sconces is in wonderful condition. There is very light wear to the chrome, some light scratches from decades of cleaning. Please look closely at the photos.

The last photo shows a chip on the top edge of one of the shades. We turned this to the back when hanging, so it does not show and the shade is still very stable. This wonderful pair of wall sconces is even more impressive in person, than my photos can show.
