Delightful Pair Of Elizabeth II Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Pepper Mills Made By J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd. Nice vintage 1970s Edwardian style pair of solid silver pair of pepper mills of baluster for with detachable top internal steel milling mechanism plus solid silver bridges and top screws. Each salt cellar is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, date letter "Z" for the year 1974 and the maker's mark "JBC & S LD" which is J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd. Condition - One of the mills is in excellent working condition good condition, the other is in good condition working but needs a screw to hold the bridge better in place (inspect end photograph) and there is corrosion to the grinder creating some looseness at the top (a thin washer is needed).
