Vintage Sterling Silver Nielloware Bracelet and Pair of Earrings, Thailand (Siam)

  

This is a vintage sterling silver Niello ware made in Siam, the old name of Thailand. There are 11 panels each measures about 3/4" by 1/2" The panels depict classic figures from the mystical tales of Mekhala and Ramasoon. On the bracelet latch closure is stamped Sterling, Made in Siam. The black part of the Siam sterling jewelry is called Niello. If you look closely through a loop, you can observe that the figures are delicately etched.

The bracelet is handmade in the early 1950s. These two pieces are in very good to excellent condition. There are no markings of the artist's name. The bracelet is 7 inches long.
