Vintage Taxco Sterling Lot Enamel Parrot Abalone Earrings Onyx Brooch Crown Mark

  
This is a lot of beautiful Mexican sterling silver. There is a sterling Mexican brooch with large cabochon onyx, a beautiful enameled parrot brooch and a pair of inlaid abalone screw back earrings. The large brooch is marked sterling and has a faint crown marking. Most of the guide websites and books on Mexican sterling attribute the crown to Antonio Pineda of Taxco.

It is hard to make this crown out to definitively attribute to Antonio Pineda. The parrot has beautiful mottling of colors of enamels.

Textured under the enamel similar to guilloche. It is marked sterling 925 Mexico. And lastly a pair of screw back earrings masterfully inlaid with abalone.

It is marked Taxco 925 but there are 2 initials before 925 that look like AA or AR. Please look at all photos for sizes.
