French Vintage 1950s Pair of Wall Sconce Lights Chrome with Etched Glass Shades

  

A delightful pair of French 1950s wall lights with chrome metal wall brackets and delightful bell shaped acid etched glass shades, in a Belle Epoque style. They would look great in a bedroom, bathroom or living room, particularly in an alcove, and really good if you have an Art Nouveau decorative style.

An ideal gift for anyone with vintage influenced decor, and an ideal prop for any period production. A wonderful decorators piece, it is really magical how a statement lighting like this can transform the look of a room. In VERY GOOD vintage condition, there is very minor related wear to the brass finish but no chips or cracks to the glass. As you can see they are currently in working order (I only wired one up but hey both work). You will need either a professional electrician or a confident DIYer to fix them in your desired location, it will be up to them to get them working in your home.

If you have any concerns about safety you should get them professionally tested too. They are designed to be used with a European 220/240 volt domestic power circuit, so if you are from a country with 120 volt mains (like USA for example) they could need adapting. Please see ALL photos and remember they are around 50 years old and have been used in the past. Brackets - 6.5 cm diameter (2½ in). Glass Shades 12 cm tall x 10 cm max diameter (4¾ in x 4 in). Projection from wall 20 cm (8 in). They take E14 small cap screw bulbs (not included).
