PAIR Large Vintage 1930s Machine Age Art Deco Chrome Cylinder Sconces RESTORED. Both remarkable and substantial, t. Pair of machine age sconces dates to the late 1930s. Their construction from heavy gauge steel suggests they were produced for commercial application, perhaps for a hotel or office building. Regardless, wherever, you place these, in your home or office, they will certainly be the center of attention.

These sconces have been restored and refurbished and are in excellent working order. All external components have been professionally re-plated with triple chrome finish. Original bakelite sockets have been replaced with new like kind. Bottom on/off toggle switches have been replaced with new like kind. New finials have been added.

Original milk glass cylinder shades were missing and have been replaced with new treated acrylic cylinders. These sconces utilize standard medium base Edison tube light bulbs (not included). Because the shades are acrylic, it is strongly recommended LED bulbs be utilized. 7 T10 LED bulbs would be optimal and are easily available online from numerous sources. Approximate dimensions are as follows.
