Pair vintage Native American Navajo silver turquoise hairpins, heavy, Simplicio

  
A wonderful pair of old Navajo hair pins, hair sticks. Heavy with a lovely handmade twist in the middle of thick square silver wire shafts, and the tops have Kingman turquoise cabs set in stamped silver with leaves in the style of Dan or Mike Simplicio. No marks but these look like the work of the Simplicios. Well made, heavy, satisfying and the twists in the silver shaft help keep these in your hair. 4 5/8" long and the heads are each just over 1" wide.
