RARE, VINTAGE CIRCA 1950s ERA, PAIR OF STERLING SILVER 925, TROPHY / AWARD STYLE MINT JULEP CUPS FROM THE HISTORIC COLUMBIA COUNTRY CLUB IN CHEVY CHASE, MD USA EACH ARE MATCHING MODEL # 140, MADE BY PREISNER SILVER CO. USA, THEY STAND 3-7/8" TALL, TOP RIM IS 3-1/4" IN DIAMETER, TOTAL WEIGHT OF BOTH IS 305.0 GRAMS, NO MONOGRAMS OR ENGRAVINGS. Very nice, true vintage and original period, has been previously lightly used, and since long stored away condition. One cup has 2 dents in line with each other on the side, one towards the top, and one of the bottom rim. Otherwise, they show light wear from use and storage over the years, including minor marks, scratches, a few very minor nicks, and they both retain a varied level of original patina over the Sterling surface due to aging. One has a very deep patina that may be from display on a shelf for years, while the other has a lighter patina, possible because it was stored away. Each have a blue enameled cartouche / medallion with the CCC shield and scroll logo for the club and reads COLUMBIA COUNTRY CLUB.

Both are matching and are hallmarked on the bottom PREISNER STERLING 140, and more than likely dates to the 1950s era.
