A rare matching pair of Ronson female nude lamps with optional set of iridescent pulled feather art glass shades, offered separately. The figure lamp bases are offered together as a set. The iconic Deco form figures standing on one foot is more often found in bookend form and is quite rare in a table lamp design. Immaculate face and body details coupled with an absence of lamp stem separations are some of the highlights of this important work of early 20th century decorative arts.

One lamp appears a bit taller than its partner because its shade holder rests higher on the threading on the socket. Both Foster sockets are operable with 1 turn-knob a bit sticky. The shade holders are a little bent but easily straightened. One retaining screw is loose and should be addressed to securely hold the shade.

The wire is of the thin variety and consistent with age. Matching plugs are of a Deco-style with a white finish and are in good condition. Surface wear is peppered about with some concentrations and adds to the antique appearance. One base, although not visibly bent, sits slightly uneven.

Both figures are missing their left pinkies. A magnet does not attract so I will air on the side of caution and conclude a spelter composition in the absence of more information. This beautiful and hard to find lamp pair are shown as received some 20 years ago. I have only dusted them and. They will make a fine accent ensemble, a fabulous pair of mood lighting or an exceptional gift for all settings and occasions.
