Silver Plated Metal w/ Dragons on either side of a Torii Arch Gate. Characters at top middle of arch read: Dai Nippon (Imperial Japan). Outer frame dimensions measure approx. 7" x 9.5" inches. Two circular royal symbols are stamped into either side of the arch. Representing the "Mon" of the Tokugawa shogunsthree hollyhock leaves inside a circle. Silver plate shows some minor surface wear. The backside is wooden, and is original. The support footing is missing on both frames. A new display stand has been added to each. New glass pane has been added to each.
