PAIR OF VINTAGE SILVER CANDLESTICKS. An eight inch tall pair of vintage sterling silver candle holders in the Regency style. Both have removable sconces / bobeches (candle wax drip trays). Standing upon a plinth of stepped oval section supporting a similar oval. Topped by an urn sconce.

The candlesticks were made by D. J Silver Repairs of London and are fully hallmarked on the plinth edges.

They also have some lightly engraved Jewish script on the opposing side of the plinth - to see this please hover over picture three and it can be seen just behind the removed sconces. Date: London Assay Office 1967.

Freshly cleaned to remove the majority of tarnish. The candlesticks are in good condition without the usual nasty dents to the plinths. One candle holder has a very slight lean. The green felt bases are replacements. Dimensions: per unit Height: 20.739 cm (8.165).
