Gorham Sterling Silver Candelabra Chantilly-Duchess Vintage 3 Light A Pair

  

This is for a pair of vintage Gorham Sterling Silver candelabras in the Chantilly-Duchess pattern (Sterling Hollowware). These elegant and collectible candelabras are weighted and measures approx. 13 inches tall x 11.5 inches wide x 4.5 inches depth.

These lovely candle holders each have 3 arms for taper candle sticks. They come apart and can also be used without the arms for holding just one taper at two different hights. These are weighted and reinforced with other materials, which almost all sterling candlesticks are.

The style of this pair goes from English Victorian, Baroque to Traditional as they are so versatile in style. One shows a repair with added sterling silver to hold the lowest piece together, assuming it was weak there. This is a common issue with this type of candle holder due to the design and the connection being so small.

Take care when taking the pieces apart and screwing together. They are etched on the base of each one with the makers name and the number 750. These surely will be enjoyed for years to come and be a wonderful keepsake. All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures.
