Pair of Antique Vintage Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Candlesticks

  

Pair of Antique Vintage Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Candlesticks. Weight of each filled candlestick is approximately 90 gramms. An extra Angel is offered with them. They appear to be filled with wood or/and plaster at the bottom. There is a marking 925 for Sterling Silver and i can also make out the word XEI??

S in Greek, which means they were Handmade. Before acquiring them i stumbled upon the Angel which appeared to have a cut off hand, but inspite of its condition bought it, for its beauty.

Two weeks later i came upon the candlesticks and understood why and how the hand was cut off. Angel is offered together with the candlesticks and weighs 11 gramms approximately. This makes me believe, that the weight in silver of each candlestick must be around 50 gramms. Height of each is 13+ cms. Lighting in my pictures is uneven and reflections and shadows might appear.

I try to photograph in the best light conditions to get as close to the original colours as possible. Part of a personal collection.
