Pair Vintage 1950s Black Gold Silver Striped Ceramic Lamps Fiberglass Shades MCM

  
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of vintage ceramic bedside table lamps with their original textured fiberglass shades. The bases are ceramic, and they have black, gold, and silver horizontal stripes (see photos). The shades are a textured beige fiberglass material. They also clip directly onto the lightbulbs. Both lamps have an on/off toggle switch which is located at the light socket. The lamps are unsigned - we are uncertain as to the maker. With the shades attached, each lamp stands approx.

15.5" tall x 9" wide. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. The ceramic base alone measurers approx. 7.75" tall x 4" in diameter (measured at the bottom of the base). The shades each measure approx.

6" tall, with the upper diameter being 8", and the lower diameter being 9. Condition: Both lamps are in good condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc.

There is a little bit of color fading from age (see photos). The shades are free from rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, burns, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to both lamps, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed, hard / brittle wires.

Both lamps are in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the lamps inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Please ask them and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
