PAIR VTG Machine Age Art Deco Chrome Sconces c. Dating to the early 1930s, these extraordinary. Sconces reflect the spirit of modernistic design of their time. Being comprised almost solely of pure geometric shapes and lines, they are true machine age artifacts. The streamlined custard glass shades are a perfect compliment to these stark chrome fixtures. These sconces have been restored and refurbished and are ready for contemporary installation. Omponents have been professionally finished in triple chrome plate. The custard glass shades are in excellent condition with typical rough edges at top and bottom.

Original bakelite sockets have been refurbished with new like kind. Four 8-32 bolts and nickel plated balls are included to assist with your installation, as shown. These sconces utilize standard medium base bulbs (not included). Approximate dimensions are as follows.

Depth from wall without shade. Depth from wall with shade. Height with shade: 7.5. Distance between mounting hole centers: 3.75. Unfortunately, as is often the case with period lighting, there were no makers marks or other evidence which might provide an indication of specific provenance.
