Pair Vtg Superb Detail Silver Plated Pheasant Bird Figurines on Oval Bases 11.5

Offered is a superb vintage pair of matching silver plated pheasant bird figurines. The figurines are quality made and the metal work shows beautiful patina and rich detail. Each bird is mounted on an oval base.

The birds have a size that gives them a nice presence and they would display beautifully, especially for your holiday table. 11 1/2" in length, 6 3/8" in height and are 5 1/2 wide. Together, they weigh a bit over 6 lbs.

These came out of an old estate in Durham, NC. I was unable to find a mark on them.

However, sellers of an identical pair on the web indicated they were made by Smith Silver Co. They are both in very good estate condition with no dents, breaks or repairs. The surround on each of the bases show a bit of shelf ware and spots of tarnish. Thanks and please let me know if you have questions.
