Vintage Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks (7 ¼) Hallmarked 1987

  

Pair of Vintage Sterling Silver Candlesticks. These elegant candlesticks are made from sterling silver but they are filled to the stems and bases as is fairly common with candlesticks. The are of plain form with fixed sconce cups, tapering stems and stepped circular bases which are covered with green baize underneath. The sconces will accommodate candles measuring up to 1.9 cm (¾) in diameter. Both sticks are hallmarked for London 1987 with the makers mark WEV.

Both sticks are in lovely condition and stand nice and vertical without a wobble. The only issues to mention are a very minor dink to the top of each sconce but these are very difficult to see (please see the photos).

To the edge of the base of one stick, there is a dent where the hallmark is located. Because of its location, its not very visible. Please be aware that, after 34 years, there will be some fine surface abrasions cause through use but there are no deep scratches. The baize coverings are secure and nice and clean.
