Vintage Pair Solid Sterling Silver Trumpet Flower Vases, Adie Brothers, 1961

  

This is a very nice pair of vintage trumpet shaped flower vases. Made in solid sterling silver, as can be seen with the Birmingham assay office hallmark for 1961 and the makers mark, quality maker Adie Brothers Ltd, as shown.

The base of each is filled and weighted. They are in overall fair condition for the age and they polish to a very nice shine as you can see. There are a few small dings as shown on both. They sit firmly and are perfectly aligned, but do remember this is a used set so do not expect it to look new. The images also form part of the description. Each case measures approximately 13.5 cms in height and the gross weight is 147g. This would make a lovely quality and unusual gift for someone, which can still be admired and enjoyed today.
