Vintage TIM Manual Wind Mechanical Stopwatch - TIM STOPWATCH RALLY TIMER - Dashboard Rally Timer Set. Stopwatches - Chrome Case TIM Stopwatch 1/5 TH SEC. Both measure approximately 52 mm diameter.

A really nice set which would look fantastic on the dash of your classic car. Both watches work as they should, they wind, stop and start with no issues. The stopwatch fly back works crisply and quickly back to dead centre.

They are in very good condition with no major scratches and no cracks to the glass (but please remember they are used period items and will have some signs of wear). The watches are attached to a very high quality custom made backplate which has been made specifically for this pair. The bottom edge of the plate is shaped to match the watch diameters, the top corners are rounded. They are secured to the black, crackle finish powder coated dash plate with stainless steel acorn nut posts.

Securing the watches in this way means they can be left in the vehicle when unattended. Spring watch clips are less secure as the watches can be easily removed by other interested third parties. There are rear mounted fixing screws to the back of the plate for a secure dash mount. The backplate measures approximately 4 1/2" by 2 1/2" (inches). I have run both watches for 15 minutes and there were no issues whatsoever. PLEASE NOTE that 100% accurate time keeping can-not be guaranteed due to age and use. These are period mechanical time keepers and will not be as accurate as modern day electronic devices.
